Hello All,

My name is Jason Hill(kd7tqn) I am new to the group and I am looking for a little help.

As you can see from the conversation below, I am trying to get a connection to hamwan for a receiver project I have going on up in another building up on baldi mountain. Bart suggested that I email the group as I will be joining the work party this Sunday and I am looking for someone with a Spectrum Analyzer that operates in the VHF band to help me identify some intermod issues I am having with my receivers. If anyone who would be willing to provide some assistance to me, I would be greatly appreciative.

thanks so much.
Jason

I do have such spec ans, but they're really heavy and awkward to move.  I suspect someone else in the group might have ones that don't quite go to 22GHz, but do fulfill your needs.  Might wanna hit up the mailing list for a specan request.

If noone else can make it happen, I'm gonna ask your help in moving my massive heavy units.  Do you have a vehicle that can make it up Baldi while carrying 160lbs of specan?  You'll also need a VHF antenna.

Maybe someone just has a VHF SDR?  That should do nicely.

OK, Sounds good. I will meet you guys there.  Do you have a spectrum analyzer that will monitor in the VHF band? I am having some intermod issues with my project up there and I would like to find out what is near the freqs im monitoring that could be causing issues.

Hi,

Bart from HamWAN here (EO_).  We plan to be up @ Baldi this Sunday to finish some cable clamps + install a server.  You're welcome to meet us there and we can have assistance on-site after we're done our part to do your client.
