Just want to clarify, since Rob's post (while correct) is in conflict with others, including my own.I took the original question to be any RF access to HamWAN at Cougar, meaning is there any node to connect to hosted a Cougar. (Which there is not) What Rob is describing is a multi-building LAN, which is connected to HamWAN via a VPN over the DSL line at the site. This is great for those of us with repeaters hosted there, but doesn't do much if we wanted to connect to HamWAN from our QTH.73,

"Is there any kind of HamWAN access at Cougar Mountain (WA)?"Yes, there is. It lands via a dedicated tunnel over commercial Internet, and performs just like any other HamWAN attachment. It has been in operation for years. It is used currently at Cougar in Buildings E and K, by WWATS, SeaTac RA and SnoVARC.(Western Washington Amateur Television Society, SeaTac Repeater Association, and Snoqualmie Valley Amateur Radio Club).I have a plan to extend its reach to Building M, if needed.Depending on Burt Guillot's needs, it is likely that I can connect him to our network without too much trouble.Burt, I suggest you write to me off list - K7QJ@arrl.net - and describe your application.RobK7QJOn Sunday, October 4, 2020, 12:01:02 PM PDT, <psdr-request@hamwan.org> wrote:Send PSDR mailing list submissions toTo subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visitor, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' toYou can reach the person managing the list atWhen replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specificthan "Re: Contents of PSDR digest..."Today's Topics:1.
