Hi Tom, I got out and did testing today at a new site. My portable Mikrotik QRT 5 International terminal log is at http://www.stargazing.net/david/sdr/HamWAN20180823Wash.txt <http://www.stargazing.net/david/sdr/HamWAN20180823Wash.txt> with commands /ip export /ip route check 8.8.8.8 I have updated RouterOS to 6.42.6. I redid the HamWAN configuration. My HamWAN Mikrotik QRT 5 client setup is at http://www.stargazing.net/david/sdr/HSMM.html#P4e <http://www.stargazing.net/david/sdr/HSMM.html#P4e> Still traceroute and ping dod not work. Thank you for your help. 73 David WA9ONY

You don't need a certificate to ping and traceroute over HamWAN. Let's try to troubleshoot. Can you send the output of
/ip export
/ip route check 8.8.8.8

I am new to HamWAN.
I successfully received S3.Larch/K7WAN http://www.stargazing.net/david/sdr/HSMM.html#P4b <http://www.stargazing.net/david/sdr/HSMM.html#P4b>
But, I was not successful doing a traceroute and ping. http://www.stargazing.net/david/sdr/PacificPark20180818.txt <http://www.stargazing.net/david/sdr/PacificPark20180818.txt>
How do I apply for a certificate? How do I install the certificate on the portable Mikrotik QRT 5? How do I verify the certificate is installed and is being used by the Mikrotik QRT 5?
Thank you for your help. 73 David WA9ONY
