My name is Steve, VE7CBH. I have been lurking on this list for some time now waiting for the right opportunity to further things along. What I was waiting for was the link from Mt Brenton VE7RNA repeater site just west of Chemainus BC to the BCWARN system. That link has now been commissioned. https://www.bcwarn.net/intermapper/rf-map.html
Mt Brenton is at 4000 feet, and has a shot into WA. Haystack @ ~140KM is a possibility. Is there any interest to pursue this link?

Glad you asked. Larch is on a different frequency, due to interference with someone else's gear. Standby for the frequency, I'm sorry I don't know what it is.
Larch S3 is on the standard HamWAN S3 channel, 5880 MHz. Marc KD7RYY was able to connect with the standard client configuration instructions, so you should be able to too. Make sure you have clear line of sight to the mountain, no trees or anything in the way. I find it helpful to visit a park on a hill or something to test new client equipment with a clear view.
