So as long as your mass is more 7lbs you should not have any adverse effects from incidental body heating from time-limited exposure to being right in front of the radiating element. Antennas focus - they don't amplify. A 1 watt signal is still 1 watt - it's just focused in one direction instead of being spread out in all directions.
Still worthy of concern and care, don't aim it at your eyes and run low power when possible, but it's no microwave oven..
