Steve,

There are all sorts of outdoor rated cable options that will work perfectly fine. We end up mostly using Ubiquiti TC-PRO (https://www.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-Networks-TOUGHCable-Shielded-Ethernet/dp/B008L143VW) because it meets our outdoor & shielded requirements, and works well with our tower hardware. No reason you have to make the same choice though.

I thought this information was at https://hamwan.org <https://hamwan.org/> somewhere but I can’t locate it. What make and model of Cat 5E/6 cable do you recommend for outdoor (exposed to sunlight) use? We’re looking at an outdoor run of no more than 200 feet to get to our dish/router.

I’d appreciate recommendations for shielded RJ45 connectors, too.

Thanks and 73,
