Mailing List Invitation
Hello All, We’re working to migrate some of our services away from our current provider to new ones, and one of the changes we’re making is with the mailing lists. We are working on moving to Google Groups on our HamWAN.org <http://hamwan.org/> account, and you should receive an invitation to join the new group. If you wish to continue getting mailing list messages in the future, I recommend that you follow through on that invitation. I will send another message with further details once the switchover has actually been made. For now this is just getting the new group set up, and ready for use. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I’ll be happy to help. Thanks, Nigel VH HamWAN
I never received the invitation referenced below; did that move ever take place? I would like to post to the group, the "purchase availability" of my 5shpn and antenna: $150 (OBO). I have not had a reliable connection since last August, when (I presume) evergreens on the path to Paine grew to effectively block a reliable signal (deciduous trees would have blocked the signal well before August). It was a nice run while it lasted, and I learned a lot. Sincerely, Dean AE7Q 425-338-4276 On 2014-12-22 16:45, Nigel Vander Houwen wrote:

Dean, I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the trees on your path. RE the mailing list invitation, it’s still a work in progress. It got pushed back some due to work deploying a new edge site that I plan to speak more about in the coming days. So for now this remains where the mailing list lives. Nigel

Hello All, Due to some issues with getting the Google Groups set up the way we'd like, we've opted to copy our existing mailman configurations and archives to a server we run on-network. All the existing archives have been maintained, and all existing memberships are also maintained. The email addresses to post to the group also remain the same. No changes should be required on your end. Please let me know if you run into any issues with the mailing list. Thanks! Nigel

Thanks, Nigel. The best type of migration is the transparent one. Tom
