Hi Guys, Not a big deal, but I’m just wondering why my client node is showing up on the HamWAN map like it has no connectivity. The signal strength indicates "null dBm". My node is alive and well. It is currently connected to the Capitol Park node and is passing traffic. Thanks, Jason Maher K7JMM
I think your IP address changed in DHCP, and the map is not smart enough to detect that. Tom On Thu, Sep 18, 2014 at 10:52 AM, Jason Maher <jason@jmaher.org> wrote:

Hey Jason, Wanna try static IP(s) on your own subnet? Need a guinea pig for BGP-to-the-home testing. Can you offer out-of-band access to your modem during the setup phase? --Bart On 09/18/2014 11:00 AM, Tom Hayward wrote:

If Jason doesn't , I will. I have been wanting to-do this for a while and haven't had time to ask for help. Kenny On Thu, Sep 18, 2014 at 2:08 PM, Bart Kus <me@bartk.us> wrote:

Sure! I know basically nothing about BGP, so I will leave it to the experts to fiddle with it. I can set up out-of-band ssh access to my modem via my normal internet connection. I'll let you know when that's done. Hopefully by the Monday if I can find the time this weekend. It looks like the map is showing I'm connected again. Yippie! --Jason
