Re: [HamWAN PSDR] Compatibility.
Thank you for saving me a lot of money! I will continue my quest for compatible hardware. Generally, you're safe to use mikrotik gear that is not 802.11 AC, unless it has the QCA9892 chip (that's AC and it can do 5/10 MHz channels). Yes. They'd make a very excellent client node. If you haven't had a survey take place before, I recommend that you reach out to the community and request that. Nothing worse than getting all the gear just to find out a neighbor's house blocks your link. On Sun, Apr 30, 2017 at 10:38 AM, Todd Lilleness <liltodd65@gmail.com> wrote:

This is good news! I have studied the PSDR HamWAN Coverage map. I am in a, "hole" in Lake City (120th and 36th ave NE). I am doubtful I will have workable connectivity here at the house. My alternate plan is to set up on my RV. Is this a viable option? On Apr 30, 2017 8:43 AM, "Ryan Elliott Turner" <ryan.e.t@gmail.com> wrote:

Yep, those will work, it's our standard config for high gain clients. -- Bryan Fields 727-409-1194 - Voice http://bryanfields.net
My RV has a couple Ubiquiti Bullets on the former FM antenna mount, so I presently have a waterproof Ethernet connection. On Apr 30, 2017 8:44 AM, "Bryan Fields" <Bryan@bryanfields.net> wrote:
