Just saw this on another list. As it says in the memorial below, not only will he be missed, he cannot be replaced. His legacy will live on in the use of Net/44 and the good works that will result from ARDC's endowment. https://www.n1uro.com/bkantor/ Steve Stroh N8GNJ -- Steve Stroh (personal / general): stevestroh@gmail.com

Good works? You mean how he was party to the largest fraud in the history of amateur radio? Or do you mean how Brian's instance on announcing a /8 and funneling everything via CAIDA held back 44net use by hams for decades? Lets not start looking at this through rose colored glasses. -- Bryan Fields 727-409-1194 - Voice http://bryanfields.net

Goodness. The man just died. Show some decency. - Dan C.
Folks, Everyone’s got opinions, let’s keep things on topic for the list. He played an important role (good or bad) in 44net, which is a significant to the HamWAN project. Condolences to those who care about him. However let’s keep the side discussion in check. On a practical note, we are still waiting to see what plays out with ARDC and what the process will be in the future for things like LoAs. HamWAN is not immediately impacted, but we’ll keep an eye on it. Thanks, Nigel
