The City of Redmond ARES group was just awarded a grant to create a small ("phase-I") wireless backbone between five key city locations as well as potentially two links to HamWAN if we can make the links work. Signal strength has been an issue, but Bart assures me we haven't been trying hard enough... ;-) I think our coming summer is going to be busy! :-)
