Re: [HamWAN PSDR] PSDR Digest, Vol 61, Issue 32
I have the following set to YES for Digest mode. *Set Digest Mode* If you turn digest mode on, you'll get posts bundled together (usually one per day but possibly more on busy lists), instead of singly when they're sent. If digest mode is changed from on to off, you may receive one last digest. Off On However, I still get several "Digests" a day, recently. I am a little surprised at that. Other groups I am subscribed to do not do this. If Mailman has a setting that determines when to send a digest, and it set really low, possibly to impress people like me that the group is a live and well and saying a lot of encouraging things, well ... it is working. But we may not need to have so many digests per day. It gets hard to digest (smerk).
Mark, Mailman is configured as default. I will try to take a look at if there is an option for frequency at my next opportunity. Nigel

"digest_send_periodic" might also be considered, Nigel. On 03/30/2018 01:35 PM, Tony Ross wrote:

I think we should stick with a frequency of 5.9 GHz. This may be a little frequent for email digests, but it has the advantage of being consistent with the rest of the network. Tom On Fri, Mar 30, 2018 at 1:35 PM, Tony Ross <w7efs@centurylink.net> wrote:

Yes, caution is required with the Mailman harmonics, which may result in each individual letter of each word being emailed. <grin> On 03/30/2018 01:39 PM, Tom Hayward wrote:
