On Thursday, September 3, 2020, a MikroTik RBDynaDishG-5HacD (Intl.) was installed at the Southwest Region offices of the Washington State Department of Transportation in Vancouver (45.6603, -122.5595). They are seeing an uplink speed of 9.7 Mbps and a downlink speed of 29.2 Mbps to the Larch Mountain site. The WSDOT/WSP building has a backup generator and a dedicated ham radio communications room. The next steps will be to set up a computer to do Winlink across the HamWAN link, and configure a VoIP phone. Steve, WA7PTM
Exciting news Steve, welcome! Great to have more connections to Larch Mtn. Your site has a tower, we are all extremely jealous! We are happy to have you on the network. KI7SBI Dylan On Mon, Sep 7, 2020, 14:00 Steve - WA7PTM <psdr-list@aberle.net> wrote:
