Ubiquiti Rocket M5 Airmax
I am new to this, I heard about this many years ago. Now I found something in a box of stuff I was given that might apply. Is this too old to be of any use? It says it is MiMO. But the date of manufacture is 2013. 5GHz TDMA Base Station. I have two, and two log-periodic antennas. I see I'm right on the edge of the coverage area, in Lacey about 1/4 mile south of Harbor Freight Tools. Steve Greenfield AE7HD WRWU703 CN87oa http://www.ae7hd.com
HamWAN has standardized on Mikrotik gear and we use their NV2 TDMA protocol to get the best bandwidth possible. This makes it incompatible with the Ubiquity equipment. You can read more about NV2 and its relation to other protocols in this PDF presentation: https://mum.mikrotik.com/presentations/AU11/au-savage.pdf -Doug- On Mon, May 29, 2023 at 7:07 PM Steve Greenfield via PSDR <psdr@hamwan.org> wrote:
