I could potentially negotiate space atop Tacoma General hospital, Good Sam hospital, and pretty much any other Multicare facility if it would be of strategic value to the Hamwan infrastructure.

Hi Paul, That's a great idea. Rob NR3O has put a lot of work into connecting Snohomish County hospitals to HamWAN as part of their emergency management plan. I haven't looked into the potential strategic value of Multicare sites, but at very least it would be good to connect their EOCs to the network. Do these facilities have EOCs staffed by hams? Do you know who they are? Do you get the feeling they'd appreciate a high speed data connection between EOCs? Tom
I'm the only ham left at TG. I am talking / meeting with an independent emergency preparedness radio comm group soon.
