Anyone have (access to) a high quality pipe bender?
Hi, These pipe bends for the Baldi mounts are not turning out great. Need something to bend 2-3/8" (OD) tubing with 90 deg angles and leave it looking pretty. The harbor freight bender for this is not the right design. A design like these seems a lot more appropriate: http://www.probender.com/ where it pulls the tube through and around the bend. Horizontally oriented gear like that would also work. Any suggestions? --Bart
My dad used to use the old trick of filling the pipe with sand before bending. Keeps it from crimping (though I'm not sure that's the problem you're having). I'm afraid I have no bender, nor the experience to use one if I did. On Thu, Jun 27, 2013 at 10:26 AM, Bart Kus <me@bartk.us> wrote:

Yeah, that also includes welding end-caps on the pipe to keep the sand compacted. Sounds like a huge PITA I'd rather not go through. Oh, and I'd have to buy a welder and learn how to weld. :) --Bart On 06/27/2013 10:29 AM, Jeff Francis^(TM) wrote:
